Wakibi is looking for a functional website manager (volunteer position)

Foundation Wakibi offers the opportunity to provide small loans (microcredits) to entrepreneurial individuals in developing countries. You can personally select the entrepreneurs and support them with a small amount. Wakibi has no overhead costs, so 100% of the loans go directly to the chosen project. Learn more about Wakibi here .

To manage and continually improve the Wakibi website, we are seeking a website manager.

Job Description

• You will update the website as necessary, such as posting vacancies or other texts, and adding photos.
• You will respond to inquiries from Wakibi members if your colleagues in customer support are unable to assist.
• Desired new features will be elaborated into (English-language) requirements, and you will coordinate with developers. Upon the development of new functionalities, you will assist in testing them.
• You will identify issues and opportunities for improvement on the website.

Practical Information

• You can work from wherever you prefer.
• Interaction with fellow volunteers is mostly virtual, with occasional team meetings.
• Additionally, there are volunteer days. Attendance is not mandatory, but we highly value your participation

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in website management.
• Is proficient in communication and analysis.
• Can communicate effectively in English or Dutch.
• Is proactive and independent.
• Is enthusiastic and willing to dedicate a few hours per month to Wakibi.
